Acute lymphoblastic leukemia simulating breast carcinoma

Abstract Background Breast metastasis in hematological malignancies is a rare phenomenon, and it primarily seen acute myeloid leukemia (AML). In patients with lymphoblastic (ALL), this condition even rarer. Case presentation. We present case of precursor B cell ALL involving breast 40-year-old female its imaging features on mammography ultrasound. Histopathology core needle biopsy (CNB) specimen allowed us to diagnose extramedullary metastases. The patient was referred oncology for further management. Conclusion To conclude, infiltrating but should be given due consideration, especially the cases known primary hematopoietic malignancy, particularly presenting history sudden lumps breast. A CNB can give reliable results combination flow cytometry immunocytochemistry, circumventing need an excisional allowing commencement early treatment.
